Two school bus drivers were among 14 New Jersey men charged with using a file-sharing network to download and distribute child pornography, including child rape videos, on the Internet, state authorities said today.

One defendant allegedly hacked an underage girl’s email account and blackmailed her to make her strip on a webcam, the state Attorney General’s Office said. Those charged were from towns including Montgomery Township, Flemington, Linden and Ellizabeth.

All of the the charges and more details will be announced Thursday by acting state Attorney General John Hoffman and federal officials at a news conference in Trenton.

Conducted in partnership with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations, the sweep is the second major operation since the state imposed stricter criminal penalties as part of a law signed last year by Gov. Chris Christie.
