Over the last few weeks, RZA and Raekwon have traded words in the press about Wu-Tang Clan‘s new album, A Better Tomorrow, which is supposed to come out this year. Raekwon said he was “on strike” from the group, and that he hadn’t recorded any verses for the album because he doesn’t agree with RZA’s direction. In response, RZA said that if Raekwon refused to contribute, the album might not come out at all.
Now, it seems a truce has been struck. A brief note was posted to the group’s website:
Breaking news : Raekwon and Rza truce : Raekwon scheduled to hit studio to complete verses for album : A Better Tomorrow
