Normally when an important issue is rearin its ugly head, I am the one most likely to sit in the cut and wait patiently for the moment to strike with deadly precision. This present quagmire originates from the 48th state of Arizona. It borders New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and California and is the country’s sixth largest state. When Mexico achieved its independence from Spain in 1821, what is now Arizona became part of the Mexican Territory Nueva California, also known as Alta California. Today over 6 million people call Arizona home with 30% being of Hispanic or Latino descent and White at 86% and well you know the math. In October of 1991 political and socially conscious rap group Public Enemy release their fourth studio album entitled ” Apocalypse 91… The Enemy Strikes Back” with one of the most controversial songs (By The Time I Get To Arizona), expressing the outrage of former Arizona Governor Fife Symington III opposing the observance of a Dr. King National Holiday.
Today’s Governor Jan Brewer last April signed the nation’s toughest bill on illegal immigration in its aim to identify, prosecute and deport illegal immigrants. Immediately the predictable protesters of the bill are yet again filling the streets and your boy Obama happens to be pissed off as well. However I find the timing of such a biased bill rather convenient for the occupancy of a black man that currently resides in the White House. So I guess this is payback for the Hispanics whose voting power helped ” O-Beezy” clutch the carnals vote. Isn’t this America folks, as her greedy ass continues to get fat off of the labor of immigrants and slave labor? Did you think the bitch would just stop with four hundred plus years of slavery aw hell naw!
I suppose the millions of immigrants on Ellis Island was just an island getaway or a figment of our creative imaginations that has brought prosperity to the entire world through their hard work ethic and their gumbo of culture. However its funny to bear witness to a country that didn’t anticipate an entire race to have one of the fastest growing markets in the world. Sure it was okay when Pablo and Maria worked for the man under the table cutting grass and serving guests for 20 years and continued to drive that beat up truck and live miles away from their gated and secluded communities away from prying eyes. By 2050 the Hispanic population will triple due to the high birth rates and continue to live the American dream that has avoided so many that are citizens by birthright. Sure most Americans are complaining but I’ve never seen their asses bending over in a lettuce field in 90 degree heat to provide a salad on my dinner table or washing my dishes in a greasy spoon.
Or how about the last time you seen a man that bears the responsibility to provide for his family and leave them behind to seek employment in a unknown land? Let’s face it the Hispanic population has provided the economic stability that has sustained our country and this is the thanks that they get admonishment? Its funny when your memory forgets the creation of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) and the agreement of Canada, Mexico, and the United States making it the world’s largest free trade area that produces $17 trillion worth of goods and services, opposed by former presidential hopeful Ross Perot from the very beginning. America willcontinue to reap the benefits of cultural servitude at the lowest denominator but when it comes to its drugs that is dependent on the productivity of Mexico and the cartels that has dominated the wholesale illicit drug market for decades.
I would be a fool to deny a man his right to eat in a state where Mexico achieved its independence during our country’s so-called humble beginnings. This issue will continue to treat the Hispanic community with contempt and create more problems as immigration sweeps in the past have torn families apart by incarcerating and deporting immigrants and creating children that are born in the US, a tremendous burden on social services and tax payers. Unfortunately the law if passed would make a failure to carry immigration documents a crime and give the police absolute power to detain anyone suspected of being in the country legally. And lets see how this whole thing is going to turn out in Congress if they will allow Hispanics to be treated as sub-humans on Barack’s clock. I guess Public Enemy sure was ahead of their time when they pulled Arizona’s card almost 20 years ago and today the saga in America continues because its typical of her nature now aint that about a bitch huh Senator McCain?
