Authorities say a man was found shot to death Saturday morning in the 200 block of Dons Lane in the New Hope Community in Berkeley County.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office says the body of 34-year-old Christopher A. Martin of Atlanta Ga. was found on Dons Lane near Jedburg Road at around 8 a.m.
Deputies say Martin’s body was found outside an abandoned home in the area.
According to the coroner’s office, Martin’s death is being investigated as a homicide and that more information will be released after an autopsy.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this crime.
